Pretzel Australia built a branded playable ad to drive reward unlocks and conversions to purchase in store utilising in game coupon offers for product, earned by the customer, from Facebook and Instagram ads.

Game was inserted into Meta ads as the creative with rewards embedded into game achievements.
Users unlocked reward coupons, which they could redeem by scanning their earned barcode voucher in-store directly.
Pretzel Australia selected a Flappy bird game template from PlaySpark library, and modified every element within the game (assets, fonts, colours, buttons) to fit their desired theme.
In the game creator, PA added rewards in the form of barcodes, unlocked by certain scores. Barcodes could be scanned in store to complete the full conversion cycle.
The game URL was embedded simply into a Meta ad campaign and then opened and played by the user in the FB/Insta environment.
